Dear Cable TV,

I had what I hope is the final dental surgery yesterday. I have to go back in to get it checked up on, but that should be the final deal. This one knocked me on my butt for today, but I’ll be back up and around tomorrow. It’s given me a chance to catch up on “Jane the Virgin,” which I’m loving and watching on Hulu. Didn’t plan to watch that one, but everyone was raving so. It’s so tongue-in-cheek cute. I’m also all over season two of “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries” on Netflix. I want to be Phrynne Fisher, and I certainly want to wear her clothes! Have you seen the BBC’s “The Musketeers“? It’s a period piece, but well written and with yummy men. I’m watching it on Amazon on demand.

If I had the coat, I’d find an occasion.

I just don’t miss regular TV at all. I’ve cut the cord.

I’ll never be yours again,

Payne.

    • Are you planning to do the Amazon Fire TV or the iTunes equivalent to get the HBO NOW/HBO GO? I’ve already bought the Amazon Fire stick, but I don’t know if it’s worth hauling a TV to my nest and setting it all up just to get HBO free of cable … ???

      • I hadn’t made any plans to change anything to access HBO. I don’t watch anything on it anymore so there’s no obsession to make it worth my while. However I am deeply devoted to Shameless and Nurse Jackie so if they make a way to get Showtime without cable I’d seriously consider it!
